Proper phone placement is essential. Follow the steps below carefully. The proctor may ask for adjustments based on your room setup—respond quickly to avoid delays. Incorrect setup will stop you from continuing.

  • Place your phone on a stable surface or stand to match the proper angle and distance.



Correct view

  • Your chair and the way you are seated

  • Your desk surface, showing that nothing is on it

  • The space below the desk and around your legs

  • The laptop screen itself and the area behind your laptop

  • Your nearby area to show that no other person is sitting or standing next to you



Incorrect view



  • Your computer is not visible.

  • The camera is positioned too close.


Exam Timer

Don’t worry, your exam timer will not start during this time. Please cooperate with the proctor and follow their feedback to set up the camera correctly as quickly as possible to avoid delays.

Always comply with the proctor’s directions during the exam — it will save you time and prevent interruptions.

⚠️ Important: If your phone disconnects during the exam, the proctor will be forced to pause your session. Please make sure it is plugged into a power source.
