If you're unable to start your exam using the Proctortrack Exam Browser, follow these step-by-step instructions to resolve the issue quickly.


Step-by-Step Fixes 

If Proctortrack fails to auto-launch:
 

1. Download Proctortrack 

  • Use the official link from your LMS or institution.

2. Install Proctortrack

  • Locate the downloaded .zip or .exe file.

  • Double-click the file to launch the installer.

     
  • Click Install and wait for installation to complete.


  • Click Close when finished.

     

3. Launch Proctortrack Exam Browser

  • Open the installed application.


  • Copy and paste your LMS URL into the browser.

  • Click Confirmed.




4. Get Started

  • You’ll be redirected to the “Let’s Get Started” page.
     

  • Acknowledge the Agreement Policy and click I Agree.



5. System Check (7-Point)
The following components will be checked:

  • Mouse

  • Keyboard

  • Hard Drive

  • Monitor

  • Microphone

  • Camera

  • System


6. Complete Verifications

  • Face Scan

  • ID Scan

  • Room Scan
    Once completed, click Start Proctoring to begin your exam.


7. If the App Doesn’t Connect

Your Antivirus May Be Blocking Proctortrack

  • Temporarily disable your antivirus software.

  • Re-launch the Proctortrack app.

  • If it works, add Proctortrack as an exception in your antivirus settings.

Note: If you see a message stating that your test has already started in the exam browser but you're not being redirected to the exam page, ensure the following:

  • You are currently launching the exam from Google Chrome or another browser. Please close Chrome and launch the exam using the Proctortrack Exam Browser instead.
