Proctortrack software captures data during tests and stores it on the test taker's computer before uploading it to servers. To save the data locally, the software requires disk access permission. However, currently, macOS does not provide detailed access to a disk that would allow Proctortrack to specify which folder it needs access to for storing the data. Therefore, the software requests full disk access to ensure it can save the data.
