Overview
After completing a proctored exam on Proctortrack, your session data is automatically uploaded to the server. If the app gets stuck on the “Uploading” screen, follow the steps below to resolve the issue and ensure your data is securely submitted.
⚙️ Quick Troubleshooting Steps
Close the Proctortrack application that is stuck on the uploading screen.
Relaunch the Proctortrack app directly from your desktop shortcut.
If there is pending data, the app will automatically attempt to resume the upload.
If uploading still does not proceed:
Switch to a mobile hotspot or a high-speed, unrestricted Wi-Fi network.
Relaunch the application again—uploading should start automatically.
⚠️Manual Data Retrieval & Submission
If the issue persists, follow the steps below to manually retrieve and send your data to Proctortrack Support.
✅For Windows Users
Press Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog box.
Type
appdata
and press Enter.Open the Roaming folder.
Locate the Proctortrack folder.
Copy the folder and upload it to Google Drive.
Share the folder with support@verificient.com.
Email the Google Drive link to support@verificient.com, including a brief description of the issue.
✅For macOS Users
Open Finder.
From the top menu, click Go → Go to Folder.
Enter:
~/Library/Application Support
and press Enter.Locate the Proctortrack folder.
Copy the folder and upload it to Google Drive.
Share the folder with support@verificient.com.
Email the Google Drive link to support@verificient.com with a short explanation of the issue.
⚠️For Chromebook Users
If you're using a Chromebook and are unable to upload proctoring data:
Disable and then re-enable the Proctortrack Chrome plugin.
Retry the upload process.
