If you are receiving “No Device Found” or “No Webcam Found” messages in the MVProctor app or the app freezes during the facial scan, the problem is most likely related to webcam drivers.


To update drivers:

  1. Open File Explorer and open Control Panel>Hardware and Sound

  1. Under Devices and Printers, open Device Manager

  1. Click on Imaging Devices (or Camera)

  1. Click on the camera that is listed to open Webcam Properties. Go to the Driver tabGo to Driver tab and click Update Drivers

  1. Click Search Automatically and download the newest driver for your camera. Restart computer.

  1. If these steps do not work, please try updating the drivers using Windows Update.
